I am very intrigued by this particular painting. It is very moving and very sorrowful. The pain in the hearts of the mourners are very heartwrenching. You can actually feel what they are feeling due to the sea taking away lives of many fisherman and how their loved was are distrot by the horrific happenings. I have to confess that I am not much into art, but when exploring all of the artistic features of feelings of expression and how overwhelming they are, really gives me a second thought on why some art is portrayes the way it is.

I love Homer's beautiful paintings, especially Tynemouth and Cullercoats where he stayed.
The Fisherwomen portray the lives of my Granma and her sisters, who were born and lived their lives on this coast.
